Yes I’m a Christian. Yes I can be the biggest hypocrite ever. I backslide. I stumble. I fall. I stray onto the wrong path. But God is working in me. I may be a mess, but I’m His mess. And He is slowly straightening me out. And the day will come when I will be by His side, His work in me completed. And until that day I will take His hand, and let Him do in me whatever needs to be done, no matter how painful it will be for me. When He is finished, it will all be worth it.
I can’t even explain how perfect this fits. <3

” Matt and Julie married last week, and when the time came for the garter to be removed, Matt did something unexpected. As Julie sat in her chair, Matt approached her with a water basin and a towel. With perfect tenderness, he humbled himself and made a beautiful gesture of his service to her.”
You’re doing it right.
This is a MUCH better tradition than the removing of the garter. I always thought the garter thing was a bit… weird? This is beautiful.
Would definitely want to do this to my husband!
Oh my gosh I’d be bawling so hard.
My high standards just got a little higher.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT.
I want this at my wedding <3
[P]erspective [B]efore [A]dmission: Meet Anthony
Major: Film Production/English
Year: Senior
From: Langhorne, Pa
Dorm: Rinker
How did you learn about PBA? I found it on the College Board web site as I was searching for Christian colleges that have film programs on the east coast.
Favorite Bible verse: Matthew 13:44 - “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
Future dream job?
I want to be a Missionary in Asia (don’t know where yet) and use my film/video skills to aid in my work. I also want to help stop human trafficking wherever I serve.
Favorite thing about PBA:
The people. The friends I’ve made here are the closest friends I’ve ever had in my life, and I am confident that these relationships with continue even past graduation. I’m even planning on working alongside some of them on the mission field at some point in the future. At PBA, I experienced authentic Christian community like I never had before.
Hobby: Playing guitar, song writing, reading, talking with people, making videos, watching movies
If you could tell a future PBA student anything it would be… Get out there. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in a ton of extra-curricular activities and events, and you’ll miss out if you don’t get involved. If you miss out on the community, you miss out on PBA. Be open to God working in your life in new and uncomfortable ways. You are going to encounter a lot of Christians who don’t have the same opinions as you do, but learn from them. You just may change your mind on some things, and that’s good. Also, love what you’re learning. Everything can be worship (and should be worship) if you make let it be, especially learning. Study hard, play hard, pray hard, love hard, live hard.
We both have the same dream job, awesome! :)
Followers, Tumblr users… I am asking, BEGGING you, anyone who comes across this post, to please keep that little boy in your prayers. His name is Grayson Everaard, and he’s four years old. When he was two years old he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, and as of last year, he went into remission.
Unfortunately, biopsy results have shown that he’s relapsed. The most heartbreaking part about this is that if Neuroblastoma returns, its extremely hard for the child to go back into remission. Gray has already completed his first week of treatments, which will extend into April, when Gray will undergo more testing to see if he is responding favorably.
Please keep the healing and comfort of that little boy in your prayers. He’s a strongwilled little guy, and he’s also a fighter. Also, keep Oklahoma Assemblies of God Youth Directors Doug and Jill Everaard in prayer as well, as well as their son Seth. It’s been an extremely hard road, and each and every one of them are feeling the impact of Gray’s relapse; only God can provide the strength, encouragement, and willpower to carry on in this time of need.
Thank you.

Read the Bible. Only the BIBLE is a source of TRUTH. Not the opinions of myself or others.
Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. HE is the TRUTH. His Word is TRUTH.
Anything that opposes Christ and His nature AND His Word… my friends….
Is falsehood and of the devil.
I will TRUST God even if I don’t get what I want. *Isaiah 55:9 #sunday #bible #isaiah #bibleverse #iphonesia #instadaily
